Ive had my 13 zx since march and all of a sudden its harder to get the key in the ignition, I have to jiggle it a couple times before it will go in. i tried the spare same thing, tried it on the gas tank and its seamless without any problems. Has this happened to anyone before, do you think its dirt and grime that made its way in the key hole or do you think my ignition switch is just going out. If it is dirt how would i clean it? if its going out i might have to contact kawi since it is still under warranty.

For a quick fix you can use some wd-40. Just spray some down the key hole. Won't hurt it it a bit. But for a longer fix get some graphite. I'm sure lowes would sell it but they make stuff just for key locks and it's made out of graphite. That's what I would do.
