Hi ZX6R land, beaker here,i'm new to all this computer wizardry and forums etc etc.
couple of quick bits : I work at Hein Gericke in Manchester (0161 7929604) so if you need bits and pieces please give me a try,ask for Beaker.
Also has anybody had problems with opening of fuel cap/lock?any sollutions?
Has anyone got a hotbodies underseat exhaust system, whats it like?
Cheers people.alien:
Welcome aboard Beaker :cheers . If your'e having trouble with your gas cap lock, try spraying a little WD-40 or a other type of penatrating oil into the key hole. A good tip is to cover all key holes with tape before washing your bike. As far as that exhaust go's, check out kwak kwak's garage. :thumbup
Welcome aboard mate. WD40 is definitely the way to get your petrol cap open BUT becareful you don't snap your key in the lock trying to work it free! Not funny.
I'll try the tape over the keyhole next time i wash mine too, good tip!
Welcome to the board and look around on the hotbodies, some ppl love it others hate it, all I know is if you get it make sure u use header wrap and other things to keep the tail from gettin hot
Wow.
This is a nice set up. http://www.exoticsportbike.com/zx6r_rr_(05-06)2.htm
I hope you get the info your looking for Beaker.
Id like to see that on your bike.
Id probably go for it if I found a "kit" like that.
You might look around in this place to see what you can find. http://www.bikepics.com/
There might be a hotbodies underseat exhaust in there somewhere.
welcome to the board. :cheers I find i have to grease the key hole every now and then, especially if its been in the rain
