Integrated Tail Light DIY

Hello all,

I need some help putting my integrated tail light back together, I mean I know how it goes but I just need to know if there was an install kit complete with the necessary bolts, washers, shoulder washers etc. out there that I could purchase? I'll look further into this but any other help is greatly appreciated.

The reason behind this is because I was involved in a hit and run, my bike has been sitting idle for a while. I just received my plastics from china, along with my crack case cover, stator and all that jazz. Anyway, my tail light is missing a lot of screws and stuff that is supposed to have been there.

I have a 2005 zx6r 636 Kawasaki Ninja with an undertail exhaust, btw. Thanks in advance.

I just purchased a new tail light and am having the same problem. I had one on the bike when I got it and it was put on there in a shotty fashion. Now I can't figure out how to mount the bolts through the back while securing the nut on the other end. Also the male connector fell off with the light and its a ghetto tape job on there. I'm really upset about the whole situation. Insight would be most helpful.

Hey there, i can only imagine. Is it the 05-06 model aswell? Have your tried following these steps?

Ive ordered one from TST, waiting for it to come myself.
Ok so I went to ace hardware and here is what I bought: 2 5/16 rubber space nuts (to go through the plastic 0 ring mount, 2 hex bolts with the same size head as the rear plastic bolts, and 4 washers (2 for the rubber mount so it is less likely to pull through/2 for the hex bolt). I also purchased Velcro to help secure the top of the light to the underside of the plastic. Hope this helps, pics to follow
