So my bike has always had a bogging out problem I have the adjuster Idle screw set propertly to 1500RPM but heres my problem whenever i SNAP the throttle it doesn't return to the correct 1500 rpm it dies so before it dies i have to catch it with smaller rev to keep it from dying I just recently replaced the spark plugs new air filter replaced cracked vacuum hoses and ran seafoam in the tank even cleanend the throttle body but my idle issue remains. I'm thinking it might be a vacuum hose somewhere any feedback will be highly appreciated thanks in advance

whats the battery like? I noticed when my bike started bogging it was a bad battery.

alternatively check the throttle cable is lubed and not getting caught on anything
Might be fuel related, or air flow.

Do a tune up. Set the valve lash, and synchronize the carburetors. That will validate air flow.

Check the float bowls of the carbs, and the fuel pump filter.
Raise the idle. I have mine set like 200 RPMs above recommended for same reason. Doesn't stall anymore
New NGK spark plugs, new k&N air filter, clean throttle body, Seafoam, and Just did the Kleen air mod and idle issue remains next im going to set the idle to 2k rpm see it that solves my issue all vac hoses are at proper location even replaced some that were cracked

I think this is worth a quick look. If the battery is on its way out and pulling too much current, the load on charging system might be a little too much as the rpms come down. Quick voltage check may tell a lot.
Bike is Fixed after doing the Kleen air Mod seems that idle air control valve that you eliminate when you do the kleen air mod was probably faulty or clogged as it seem when i looked inside of it put everything back together rode it that night and it runs like a champ way smoother and quicker throttle response. IF you haven't done the keen air mod look into it easy cheap mod i probably spend $15 in supplies to do it
I can tell you- that wasn't it.

You raised the idle and that is why it doesn't die now, or you ran it long enough to get the excessive amount of seafoam out...

KLEEN system has zero affect on performance no matter what you do to it, sans leaving the reed valves and covers completely off and open

At any rate- bikes that run properly don't need to idle any higher than factory recommended, actually they should idle perfectly stable and fine at 1000 or less in most cases and the preset higher is for other reasons..........gearings and so you can leave lights easier without killing it being number one...
