Just to share on how to remove the tank slider from 12 ZX6R.

I had a tank slider that glued to the tank with aquarium silicon sealant.

after got a small accident, my tank slider was damaged and I'd like to replace with the new one.
See picture "Step 1":

First, I tried to heat up the tank using the hot air gun but after several trials, not succeed.

Second try, I use the slim plate of 0.20 mm.
And put some gasoline to the surrouding edges of the tank slider.
The gasoline will penetrate into the tank slider and gently insert the 0.20 mm (or you may try to start with 0.15mm plate).
Do this until all silicone gone.
See picture "Step 2":

After 35-45 minutes, I finally been able to remove the tank slider.
See picture "Step 3:"

Now it's time to pop-up the small dent there (will inform later the result :) )

Hopefully this information is useful :bigthumb:

No, the paint has gone during the crash.
And during removing the slider using gasoline, no affect to the tank paint.

I didn't try to use 90% alcohol though.
