I recently sold a 2015 Yamaha FZ-07, had all the goodies- PC5, full SC Project exhaust, CRG Levers & bar end mirrors, etc etc, and it was clean enough to eat off of. It took me almost a month to sell cause it had "too many miles"; the odometer read 15,627 once the new owner took possession of it. Blew my mind that 15k is considered high mileage.
I've always wondered what the stigma was with "high mileage" bikes. I understand being skeptical with anything higher mileage, but if the bike has been meticulously maintained and it shows, should that not give piece of mind?
So, what in your opinion is considered high mileage if/when purchasing used, and why?
