How do you measure fork oil level?

I know this is an old thread, but the right answer wasn't given. This is to complete the thread.

Use this tool. Best tool for it. I had mine set at 125mm from the top. Poured in more than the amount needed. Stick the guide in one of the holes and had pull on the plunger until you're only pulling in air. Fork fluid oil set.
