Hey guys. I'm new to this thread. I'm the original owner of a beautiful matte blue 2006 zx6r. I just wanted to know if anyone on here has hit over 100k. If so will your odometer reset to 0 if you do. My bike has about 73k and my friends bike same year and model has 84k.

That's awesome I haven't even hit 15000 yet lol
That's a lot of riding man!!! That's incredible (and kinda crazy)! I don't ride even close to enough to rack up that many miles in that much time. I'm not sure I average that many miles per year on my car and bikes combined :dowhat

By all accounts, most supersports don't make it that far only because they tend to get wrecked before then but they certainly can get past 100K fairly easi IF it is maintained well.

welcome! Damn that's a lot of miles :bigthumb:
Welcome! as everyone states...that is some good amount of road time you had under her. Please post pics of the odometer reading...this is an impressive feat!

As 2y4life said...its double impressive because for one...you maintained it well! and for two...most bikes end up wrecked before they make it to even half the mileage!

Any issues worth noting during your time with the bike. I ask because I already had a stator go bad on me after only 22k miles.

And BTW, where in Cali are you from?
Welcome. And thats bad ass I have 35k on my 09. I would love to see my odometer hit 100k.
EvilTwin had an 07 that got somewhere around 80k. I don't remember the exact number but it was pretty awesome.

Thanks guys I'll take a pic of the ODO later. I ride 80 miles a day 5 times a week. been doing it for a few years.
The only problem I have had was the weld on the swingarm spool broke off. I heard its nothing structural so I just use a paddle type rear stand. BTW I'm from So cal.

Yep, that's not bad at all if that's your only issue! Those things aren't very strong to begin with and a few people have had them go during a low side. I'm also wanting to see pics of this ODO, lol!
Hello and welcome! I'm not positive, but my guess would be that it will keep on counting above 100K.

I currently have 57,000 miles on my 2009 that I bought brand new. :)

On Hondas, they turn over to 0 again. No idea about Kawis
Nice.. At that rate you'll be at 100k in about a year and a half.
:hail:

............Now get us a pic of the rest of the bike :yumyum:
Is that a current picture? Holy smokes that is clean for 70k+ miles:yumyum:
