Another option is to explore adapting OEM rims from other makes and models to your bike..... 17" rims have been around for a good long while now, in the same widths.... it's more a matter of what mounts up on the axles, and how difficult it is to get the braking system to work out.

the wider the market you can look at, the more options there have to be with what anyone has done as far as customizing rims.
