Hello again!

I am happy to say that thanks to this group I purchased a 2023 ZX6R ABS KRT about 2 weeks ago. And thanks to global warming, today I got my 600 mile Break in service :)

Full discloser, I did drop it before I even left the parking lot the day I bought it. I over corrected (like on an 800lb Harley) and locked the front wheel to the left at a near stop and just when over before I even knew what has what. Broke the left foot peg and part of the faring, so like $500 damage before I ever got off the lot. Its all good though - I ordered the parts, and the dealership gifted and installed some frame sliders for me.

Since then however it has been a fanatic experiance and ride. Now that the break in period is over I am looking for folks in/near Raleigh NC to ride with.

Thanks again for everything!!!

Thank you,
Rob Dusablon

Hello and welcome. One of the reasons I use a steering damper is to slow down the steering so those types of drops don't occur. I'm on the border of SC/NC outside of Charlotte and my area extends to around Blowing Rock where I pick up 221/BRP south.

We had a huge street ride in east Tenn last year that went from Jc to the top of 421. It’s not extremely close but you guys should come this year. They should announce the date soon. Last year it was 200 riders. The cops shut the intersection down for us and a good group of us stunt guys lead the ride. Well till we got out of town and you canyon maniacs left is in your dust lol.

I have a campground at my racetrack and we have a few rv setup there. If you guys are free and want to come up the day before we have room for 8-10 more people as of now to sleep and plenty of food and a big bonfire at my racetrack the night before. Last year was a good time. Then everyone ran the tail of dragon over from 421. Lots of good riding this way.

I will start a topic once they set the date for this year. But you guys are more than welcome.

We have a big concert stage at my park so we are trying to get some sort of decent band to come play the night before my wife opens the concession and she makes all the food. “Hamburgers hotdogs fries and nachos. May have brbq this year. But it’s absolutely FREE aside from your gas and time to get here.
