So I just went and picked up a GoPro hero the other day. Done alota research on it and its apparently pretty awesome.. anyone currently using or had experience with it and did you like?

Eviltwin, Monster, Azx6R, twilliams, and others have the GoPro HD's and from what i've seen, it takes some pretty clear footage. i don't have one quite yet but i will be getting one.

well im hoping today will be my first chance to get it out and do a few test runs. weather here has been a drag but im hearing 47 and sun today which is good enough for me.

Azx do you usually use the waterproof door on the back or is the non-waterproof sufficient to keep wind noise down?

I have never had the waterproof door on it. Maybe i will have 2 do a few runs with the waterproof door on 2 see how it does with wind noise.

well i actually just got back from doing that very thing.. waterproof door does well though when youre idle or just crusing at slower speeds its a bit muffled. turned out well though.

I like the sound of the exhaust, u can still hear a good amount wind but it works.

i just bought the HD hero for $229.00 at 58cycle.com today..
the HD vids come out fantastic, not to say that the standard gopro doesn't, but you just can't beat HD...
