Getting your gear tailored?

I just recently purchased a used alpinestars two piece suit. Unfortunately, I got the wrong size. I guess that's what I get for not trying on one at my local shop first. Do any of you have experience in getting your leathers tailored? Is that possible or would that compromise the quality and protection of the suit?

Have anyone around there that works leather? Ask them if they can do it and still maintain the integrity of the pieces you need worked. Could be costly tho. Not sure ask and I'm sure they could give you a price

I had these guys repair crashed leathers and they did a amazing job. They handle a lot of SoCal customers and do alterations.

I had the guys at Syed leathers later my suit. They did excellent work.

Barnacle Bill has been doing custom leather and alterations forever, I'd look him up.
