I just read through my '09 manual.... It doesn't offer any values, either. Since it's a D.C. Motor, I would expect a small amount of resistance, possibly too low to measure; certainly less than 1,000 ohms. I would also expect neither pin to be shorted to the metal parts of the pump body. Should read 1M or higher.

What numbers did you get?

I was getting 2.1 ohms but I’m assuming that it should be between .5 - 1 ohm

I'd think 2.1 is likely okay, lacking any further evidence. 12V/2.1 ohms would give the pump near 6 amps to work with..... Near 70 watts of power.

Does the pump spin when you apply power?
