first time I've removed the front clip entirely.... I can now understand how it can be done a whole lot quicker than what it took me.

Having the new plugs on hand, and wanting to accumulate shims before I bother to tear it down far enough to do both the plugs and set the valves, I wanted to make sure I could do the fairing without major problems. Went pretty well... had a chance to clean up some of the frame that hasn't seen the light of day in quite a while.

Nice man and after the first time it is super easy.
Agreed. Once you really know what needs to stay and what needs to be removed, it's much simpler. Knowing how much force it takes is much better than guessing, LOL.

You remove front fairing and side fairings all together or all in separate pieces?

Good deal. I've pulled my fairings off numerous times but never have pulled them all off as one piece. Might have to try that. Cause I'm def needing to do my valve adjustment. I've got 22,000 miles on her and have never done it yet.
