Frame slider bolt stuck not sure what to do

I had the shogun frame sliders on the bike till my right one decided to run away from me. My only speculation on how that could have happened is it hit the ground whenever I slipped at a higher lean angle and maybe even saved me from dropping my bike.
nevertheless the 10mm Allen on the inner is totally stripped and won’t move at all channel locks just spin and I can’t quite Think of anything that’ll make it so I can still reuse the bolt hole for replacement sliders. Any help is appreciated thank you guys

(read the last line first!) I have heard of folks sacrificing a slightly larger torx bit and hammering it in in situations like this...

Another thing I might try is a hacksaw blade or dremel tool to put a slit in that allen and try to back it out with a flat-blade screwdriver -- but if it is torqued hard, you probably won't be able to get it out because the halves will split...

What is that black thing the allen is screwing immediately into -- is it actually threaded -- can it be sacrificed? Is that the engine case behind it? Is that allen actually going into two threaded pieces (that would be strange unless they are separately removable)?

Can you share the instructions for the frame slider? Is that allen like a set screw or something? I'm having trouble imagining it and where the torque is holding the allen...

Or is the black thing a castle nut that you need to back out (screwdriver and hammer?) before you can remove the allen (because it acts like a jamming locknut)???

here are the pictures of the good frame bolt hole and the slider it’s self it’s just a simple Allen that screws into the frame. Kinda confused on what it is on the other side that is even sticking out and I think it must have got twisted whenever it came off and made it hard to take off. Will try some different techniques when I get a chance tho

Chisel and a hammer. I can’t count the times a chisel and hammer has saved me. It’s never failed to remove stripped bolts

and people can actually lean so hard they scrub there frame sliders? 🧐. Did I read that right?
I can't believe anyone who commented (apart from the op) doesn't know that is a Lock Nut and as such is preventing the Adjustable Engine mounting spacer from backing out :)

Is it possible that’s that’s the inner back part of the frame slider? As of now all I know is that it would prevent me from replacing the broken one and replying to “Scumbag” it’s just a guess that it hit the ground mid corner. I slipped out while cornering pretty hard and I’m guessing maybe that hit the ground and I was able to recover. Just a guess tho only thing I have to suggest that is it being gone right after on the killboy photos

NO
NOT just NO, but ....................FUCK NO

geezus.........

hasn't anyone ever looked at their bike before!!!!

It looks to me like the OP has boned himself trying to back out the adjuster that cannot back all the way out- it has a huge shoulder on the inside of that frame rail. You have to pull the engine to remove that adjuster- because..it only goes out via moving towards the engine

people really need to open thir eyes and the service manual and use some cognitive skills and mechanical aptitude otherwise they need to throw all tools in the trash and really on paying competent people to do competent work!!!!!!

Frame sliders designed to fit a specific model will have been made to fit that lock nut as it needs to stay in place.

Did that spacer move at all when you tried to undo it as it looks out to far to me almost as if it's up against the inside of the frame, Note they don't come out that way, They are screwed into the frame from the other side pre Engine install.

Well I can’t get pics to load on my cell here unless I wait forever. And I assumed surly to god he loosen the lock nut.

You need to put a jack under the engine and loosen all the engine bolts now and get all these to line up properly once again- that is totally fucked up too.........

Oh shit I got the pics 🤣😂. You really should have read the instruction in your frame sliders. That motor will never be aligned right now.

🤣😂. You are correct. I have to start connecting to wifi before I comment. Poor boy been chiseling his bike apart 🤣😂 damn. . Assuming cost me a big one yesterday. Hired a new kid and assumed he knew the difference between two stroke and four stroke. So I’m weed eater shopping today. He said he knew the difference. Just dint know they took different fuel. 🤦‍♂️.

Different Fuel or add some oil ?
We use the same Fuel in the UK just add a % of 2 Stroke Oil..

Well I go through so much here and our fuel sucks so I use non ethanol in all the lawn stuff and I have two 25 gallon storages. One is marked. “Regular” the other is marked “premix”. He had no clue what premix meant so he filled everything with the regular. Luckily I caught it when he burnt the first weed eater up. So same base fuel. Just missing that very important ingredient

Update I think that happened the Allen bolt broke off in the engine based on the photos. Looks at a video and that locknut is supposed to be there so I focused on the wrong area. So it looks like I just won’t be able to run frame slider anymore unless anyone knows a way to get that bolt that’s broken off inside the engine out. Thanks to all the people that have been helpful without being assholes. I’ve only been riding for a year and all my mechanical knowledge has been gained from YouTube videos on the basic installs I’ve done so far.

Well the “asshole” gave you the only logical answers out of all of us.

I wanna see pics of you scrubbing your sliders.
Scratch that. After looking at it your mounts out of adjustment. It’s gotta be. Remove it all the correct way and replace that mess would be my advice.

So should I still try to remove the locknut and then see about getting the broken bolt removed? I mean I’d definitely have to have a shop remove that, but I don’t know how feasible that is or how expensive so worst case I just don’t run frame sliders anymore
I honestly can’t answer that 100%. That adjustment looks way off to me and comparing to what I have and seen. Did that bolt manage to move any during the mangling process? Wait till someone else gives some opinions. Maybe post several angles of what you have going on. It just looks off to me. And engine alignment is important. I feel like not being able to run a slider is the least if your problems. But I very well could be wrong and all you have is a broken slider bolt. Just doesn’t look right to me.
