Hi! Considering to get Fork and axle sliders just for added protection.

i noticed most offerings have a bar that go through the axle, whereas the Woodcraft one are two separate pieces that attach on-either end. This is to supposedly make tire changes much easier vs the through version. (not like its difficult to remove the through version)

are there any differences, advantages, etc that i may be missing on when it comes to through version vs split versions? Is the bar version more structurally sound? Will water collect and cause rust in the axle cavity over long-term?

Im deciding between Woodcraft, and Evotech for example

Gas Auto part Metal Fashion accessory Cylinder

Coming from a stunt perspective i have broken the end bolt ones. I haven’t broken a set of through axle ones. Either one will serve the purpose in a single crash tho. Well serve more of a purpose than nothing lol

Thanks for the photos.

My opinion on this is worth what you're paying for it. I have to think in a street setting the rod through the axle set up would have a benefit... Imho, it would take longer to steal.

I'm a fan of Woodcraft. Bling wise, I like his set up more. It's technically cool, weighs less, and can be removed nearly instantly...... At the track this might be an advantage for a race where tire changes matter..... It's never going to be that critical for me. But it's cool.
