Fair Price for used 2013 ZX6R non-ABS?

I know prices vary based on region. In our area, there are a few dealerships within a 3-4 hour drive that still have "new" '13s left over. They are roughly $8500-$8800 OTD (TTL+ fees included). Money is a bit tight and want to stay under $8000 and am not considering the left over new bikes from the dealership. Knowing the prices for left over '13s, what would be a fair price for a used 2013 with the following specs:

- Immaculate shape with 1900 miles
- Has paperwork for two services (500 and 1.5 for oil change) and said he supposedly did an oil change before storing for winter (won't matter as I would do it if I purchased it).
- Fender Eliminator kit
- Integrated tail lights
- Tank pad
- M4 Shorty

He is asking $8000 even, what is fair?

Thanks for any and all comments.

Honestly that seems about $500 to $1,000 too high to me.
Taxes are ~$500 for an $8k bike. If you want to be under $8k then offer $7.5k or less. If you offer $8k, just get a new one if your statement of $8500-$8800 OTD (TTL+ fees included) is really true.
Seems high. I would try to work it down at least $500. If he's stubborn and you really want the bike, settle on kelly blue book value which is like $7700.

I've heard of guys getting OTD price for $8700 so to settle on $8k even with that little miles just doesn't make sense IMO. Just splurge the 700 and get new.

Aftermarket non performance parts don't mean anything in used motorcycle sales.

Yea they go for just under $9K OTD here. I'm looking at one right now asking $8k, showed him the prices on CycleTrader and we've agreed on $7K. 2200 miles. Just have to take it for a test ride
The "mods" would hurt his value and not help it. He wouldn't get more than $6-6.5k for trade in so about $7k-7.5 would be fair IMO.

Seriously a slip on is not substantial enough to justify pricing the bike comparably to a brand new bike with 0 miles.
Yea, he posted $8 as his asking price obo. He said he would do no less than $7300 which I guess is fair based on the market. Not to many used '13s going for less than that and none at all in the entire state of WI, MN, and IL. Will have to see it. $7300 a decent enough price? Yes, a brand new one would be nice but if I can save $1000, that means I can upgrade a few key gear items.
$7300 is a good deal.

As long as the bike checks out and everything is as advertised.

I'd be a lot more comfortable with that.

Agree completely. I am in the same boat as the OP. Original budget was $7K but may end up going a tad over in the end since the bike I'm looking, we've agreed on $7K.
If that bike was here in California, it would be a good deal. But Midwest, I'd expect to see it around the 7k range for a used '13.
There are NEW 13s that can be had for less than 8.

Links? Nothing within 3-4 hour drive here. The cheapest ones are going for $8299 and they will not haggle, have tried. The OTD price with our 5.5% tax along with TL comes up to just a tad over $8800. Would love to get one for under $8
$8k is a fair price, anything below is a smoking deal. People are still asking $6k-$7k on '08-'10 600cc superbikes, yeesh.

My neighbor across the border. Yea, take a look at CL and dealerships and you will know the value of the bikes.
I agree that $8k is not high, but not a good deal either. If I wanted to sell my 2013 right now with 4.5k miles on it I'd probably ask $8k so I could negotiate to $7-7.5k or so...

Just a tad over $8200-$8500 is what one can find here within a 3-4 hour drive
Like I said - the listing for the 13 at 7700 isn't there now.

The 8200ish price still seems like a decent deal.

That is still a very good deal considering the used prices people are still asking for since a simple CL search will net you a TON of people asking $8K to $10K for their '13s still lol.
