yes 04 636, only in first, don't know if the previous owners changed the gears or not, haven't looked into it too much, planning on getting new chain and sprockets soon though
'03 636. Yes, First gear will pick up very easy somewhere around 6K+. Second gear I really have to be in it to just power it up. Not a chance on flat ground in third. I have while cresting hills and such but I don't think that counts. Only mod is a filter and shortened Two Bros. can. vto, you should be able to get that thing up without a sprocket in second. Rail on it in first (take it up by redline) then when you shift into second just crack the throttle.
