The Daytona 200 is run by ASRA this year, not AMA. ASRA has no television/media rights set up so it will not be live broadcast. I have heard rumor that there will be a post-race edited version of some sort available but no idea when or by whom.
This is a sorry state of affairs...

If CCS/ ASRA hadn't picked it up there likely wouldn't be one. The fact it exists in the post DMG era is something to applaud.
I wanted to go so bad but probably wouldn't qualify. Maybe do the CCS ROC at the end of this year and try for 2016 if my times are good enough. Couple friends are doing it. It's going to be interesting to see what Helmbach does going to a 600.

Assuming that I am racing at all this year, I will be at ROC in October. I know I qualify for times...
I'll be there if it's not raining.
Yea I seen CCS was doing it. I hope one day I can get on that track just to say I did it! But the clock is ticking and who knows when they will stop running there. Good luck to you guys who are going!

Have you raced there before? I've never been. Not even sure what qualifying times are there. Then there is the whole "200" part. Lol. I would have at NJMP. Well, would have under last year. Not sure if things will change in 2015.
With attendance literally non-existent for the last decade or so I'm surprised they even decided to do it this year after the MotoAmerica franchise taking U.S. road racing into a new (and probably better) direction. Personally... I am glad to see the 200 NOT on the list for MotoAmerica. It's a huge cost for the teams to make the event... and with no TV broadcast and even fewer actual seats being sold... what's the point?

That said... A buddy has his team running this year's 200. GO TUNED RACING! He's got Steve Rapp riding for him as well as Bryce Prince. :D
Don't quote me on this but I believe I saw something on the Chicken Hawk Tire Warmers facebook page that says it'll be streamed on Fanschoice.tv this year? Again, dont quite me
I'm 10 min out of surgery :laugh

No, I have not but I am within about 1.5-2 seconds of #5 on this list and he qualified last year by a huge margin.

Anyway, here is the list of entrants for this race. Qualifying to take place tomorrow.

Racers who have the timing and scoring app: this will be live on that app. not as good as watching but results are real time

word on the street is it can be streamed here:
Fanschoice.tv - Watch Live - Schedule
Hell yes!!! It is showing as available! I am shocked but pleasantly so.
The grids are up

Geoff May Takes Pole Position For 74th Daytona 200

Local to me is Eric Wood (#5) on a ZX6R in 9th and the guy I go back in forth trading places with (same pace) Kristopher Knopf starting in 26th.

Man I really wish I was there...best guess would be gridding somewhere in the mid-20s :/

This is really killing me.
Going to be there tomorrow, I'll take some photos for you LOL

Watching the race now, interested to see how it plays out with all of these red flags.
What an ending! All the red flags got a bit tiring but I'm glad I watched.
What a race...and I am SO F'ING BUMMED that I wasnt able to be there. The guy that took 9th place is someone I regulary race with and we are on the same pace.

I think I may have just missed my one shot at ever getting in the top 10 at Daytona :/
