Crank but won’t start

So my 2007 ZX6R will crank over but won’t start. I tried bump starting it and it would barely start and then die a second later regardless of throttle. It did run at one point about a week ago. I don’t know what’s happened to it. Any ideas?

Has it been sitting for a long time? Is the gas inside fresh?

Gas is less than a month old and the bike ran fine a week ago. Prior to that it was sitting for about two months
Could be a dying fuel pump.
Try starting it while spraying some starter fluid into the intake.

I think you might be right, I just sprayed starter fluid through it and it started but died once I stopped. Any ideas on going forward?

Its either a dirty fuel filter or a dead pump. I would remove it to see if it can be fixed.
And don’t let it just keep running on starter fluid. Shits ok to help start but you don’t want it to be it’s primary fuel for very long.
