Getting ready for my spring service and thought I would change the engine coolant in both my ZX6RR and my wife's EX250R. My question that I'm throwing out is is there any special type of coolant that I need to use,or can I simply use a long life coolant like most vehicles run:dowhat. Mine has yet to be changed(it's 3 years old) and I have know idea when my wife's bike been done(we bought it used and it' a 2000). I'm also going to use distilled water as I know it will not cause mineral build up.:cheers

I just use a 50/50 premix from any auto store. I don't really think you need anything special though, just as long as you don't get any air bubbles in the system.
