California Track day riders ???

Has anyone here in California used Pacific Track Time for trackdays? I noticed that they are SUPER cheap. Like ALOT cheaper than Zoom Zoom or obviously Keigwins. I just don't get if there is a reason why or if I'm missing something. Basically they have track days at Thunderhill for $120 for a saturday or sunday, or $198 for both days! 2 days for a cheaper price than 1 day through Keigwins or Zoom Zoom. I just wanted to double check with you guys if you have had any experience or have heard of anything?

No refund for any reason~ I totally get that... You would get a credit towards a future event...

Otherwise they provide medical staff, have food vendor, suspension and tire people etc...

Seems like a pretty good deal, you aren't getting CSS type training but you are getting something. and $198 for 2 days is dirt cheap at any track
A big group of us rode Buttonwillow with PTT last year and it was a great experience. That's the only time I've ridden with them but it was a familiar deal, $198 for the weekend. I'd definitely go again.

PTT tends to be generally a younger, more amped up crowd compared to the others you mentioned, at least to my observation. I've done about 5 track days with them and everything is pretty well organized, have full service providers there (massage, tires, parts, etc...). It was a PTT day when I wrecked last year and since I was by myself, they packed up my bike, trailer and car while I was at the ER so when I got back to the track everything was basically ready to go. I was grateful for that.

Not sure how they do it so much cheaper but you're right, you can save a lot of money compared to the other guys

dunno if it's too late to chime in on this, but I'm at the track every other weekend here in Cali so I know all the providers pretty well: Z2, Keigwins, and PTT. They're all good and provide full service. I liken the groups to be the following:

PTT: Racer oriented, some of the fastest racers train with PTT
Keigwins: Trackday enthusiast
Z2: very beginner friendly

Z2 has a very good beginner program for novice trackday riders. Keigwins offers excellent 2 day schools at both Laguna Seca and Thunderhill. PTT has blazingly fast riders and oftentimes, AMA teams will come out and ride in their A group to show you what Fast really means.

I just go with the one that fits my schedule and where I want to be for that weekend. :)

I also have started hosting Open Trackdays, Full Open Track (7 hours of riding) with full service for a small group of riders. I'll keep you guys posted for future events!
