:laugh sorry couldnt resist...

I'm not a expert....but for street riding I use stock/OEM pads
When I get onto the track I put HH sintered EBC pads...

Now if you want latest/greatest try and invent some carbon ceramic brakes for bikes :devious
You're not riding her hard enough if you have to use your fingers. :devious

EBC HH for street/track. EBC EPFA to step it up for street/track. EBC GPFAX to step it more with higher initial bite and should be track only. I just have EBC HH for my occasional track days. I haven't tried other brands.

I have had one race-weekend's worth of testing so far with my bike, 2006 zx6r. I am running stock brakes and MC with braided lines. I ran EBC EPFA pads and can't complain so far. My first choice would have been the GPFAX as the bike will only be used on the track, but I had a hard time getting them before it was time load up. From what I know and how they felt, I think EPFA would be fine for a bike that sees street and track use.

Take this recommendation with a grain of salt though because where I come from no one uses their "fingers" for braking, we just stick our foot in the direction we want to go and the back wheel in the opposite.
EBC HH, putting a new set on Sunday actually
EBC HH pads....ride streets only.
How many sets can you get to rotor? All I hear is how they eat them up.
Ferrodo Xrac pads for me, they aren't cheap but they are awesome. Also they work well with stainless steel or iron rotors.

damn.....I'll be honest never knew you can get that on bikes...I know on cars its popular (high end obviously) but on bikes.....probably costs as much as the bike :laugh

Carbone Lorraine XBK5 is what I had on last season, including while we were on the trip. Although I'm not sure we ever rode together. I thought they were great. Noticeably better than the oem pads. Good bite, smooth, easy to modulate.

I've got 30k miles and 8 track days on my rotors and they still look great, so I guess enough that I'm not particularly concerned about them? I've been using them for the majority of the life of the bike and my local track is incredibly heavy on the brakes :O

EBC HH sintered pads for the street. These are a better upgrade for the STREET than getting stainless steel brake lines. Amazing stopping powe once you get past the 300 mile break in period.:)

90% street riding
EBC HH

easy to get anywhere and not too expensive. Don't know any better pads but I'm happy enough with those.
I'm loving my ferodo sintered STAC track day pads. They're designed for street/track days. just be sure to buy a set of pads that fit how your going to use them. You don't want a full on race pad if you're only gonna ride street and vice versa.

Ive prolly put about 5K miles on em now and they still have a shitload of meat on em....almost looks new. At first they had a slight squeak to em when coming to a stop but it disappeared after a month or so.
