:coocoohi all my brake lights wont go off, i heve replaced the switch and the brake lever (front) and still not working the brake lever is not connecting withe switch to turn them off!! anyone had this problem before, any solutions would be a great help,

sounds good to me. sounds like the spring fell/broke of your rear brake lever.

I was thinking the spring could be bent. But do the 2001's even have the springs? If they do, might be an idea to check it, mine has jammed before.
