Hey guys, new to the forum, figured I would see if anyone else is interested in these before I go and order one set for myself.









For one set shipped they are 300 euros, for 3 sets 250 euros, and 5+ sets they are 220 euros.

Let me know if anyone is interested, I can ship from me via USPS Priority here in Las Cruces easily and get the order sorted. They said they have a couple dozen sets in stock so shipping would probably be in the 2 week timeframe I am guessing from my recent experience.

I was a few months ago because someone had mentioned it on a different forum who bought some for a different bike because the power gain that Motomaxx claimed was pretty good for a low cost (those were aluminum not carbon). However the guy ran a before and after test on the dyno and it didn't make squat for difference. In fact it ended up putting less power by a fraction of a hp with the Motomaxx stacks and the dyno chart showed pretty much no improvement anywhere in the rev range. So he was pretty disappointed that he wasted his money.

So I'm not sold on it and ended up not getting it based on that. I'm not saying Motomaxx was straight up lying but you know how it goes with dyno tests. You can tailor the parameters and have some variables in the test to make it look like you're getting more or less power, and nobody knows how they did their test. The guy I talked to did it on the same dyno, by the same technician, with the same parameters, etc. He eliminated as many variables as possible and even customized his fuel map again with the new stacks to optimize it and I think that gained him like 0.5-1 hp only.

another question..... if these are in fact shorter than OEM......... why not try cutting down your OEM stacks? If you want to see what happens with a shorter velocity stack, why not pull the OEM parts out altogether and see if you can feel a difference. The most extreme 'shortening' you could do would be to remove them altogether.

I have a couple of friends that recommended them over in the UK, It isn't necessarily that they are shorter than stock, it is the profile and shape along with the length all together... The stock stacks are multiple levels and cutting them down probably won't prove helpful as it will disrupt the airflow more than anything... Curious to see if anyone else has any experience with them, I am going to send this thread over to my friends who recommended them and see what they say as well.

I think @PainfullySlo changed his stacks on his 636. Not sure what brand he has or if the 636 ones are different than the '09 ones though. He'll probably know more I'm sure.

Correct I did as well... at a cost of $20 on eBay

Are there improvements to the upper RPM range with this swap?
Theres no "Gain" its a shift in power delivery from mid to upper range. Unfortunately I don't think anyone has done a dyno comparison of the two sets to show
