Well, unfortunately the British winter is looming, I'm moving to a house without a garage and I'm planning to do a fair bit of riding on the salty roads of London. The bike will now be kept under a cover outide my new place - no more sheddy goodness.

I'm thinking of doing the winter sans lower fairings so I can keep a close eye on the effects of winter (the bike looks like it has only really done dry miles up to this point) and also as a slight theft deterrant.. Plus I like the look of it semi naked.

Road salt can do some pretty horrendous stuff to casings, bolts, etc and the councils love spreading it all over the roads whenever they can so I've invested in a can of ACF 50 - I've read a few reviews and if it's only half as good as people say then it will be worth trying.

I'll keep y'all updated...

Oh yeah, anyone else use the stuff, or recommend anything else?
