Am I wrong for liking this?

I have been toying around with the idea of getting a zx14r to either replace the zx6 or to sit in the garage with it. Which brought me to this photo.

To me it is awesome and reminds me of my old zx7r. Or is it just rice and I'm seeing it through rose colored glasses? Given I would never lower a bike like that, but the color scheme is a ton of fun.

I think it looks great! I love that old color scheme
The paintjob is badass, the lowering is not. (unless your dragging it)

That's what I was thinking, a kid could use that exhaust as a step to climb right up on it. Looks cool though.
Youre not wrong as everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I personally think it is hideous :laugh
yes, wrong.
What kind of riding are you interested in?

They're very very different bikes.

It's decent if you like that style of bike.
Not my style.... but the paint scheme is purty.
It's cool if you don't plan on turning... Like ever lol
I like the color scheme, but know the seat color would not work out for me. That looks great, right up to when it gets dirty. Nothing would detract more than having an a$$ print ground into the cover in greasy dirt.

I am thinking of keeping the 6 and picking up a 14. Mostly the 14 would be for the long treks of highway to and from work. I had big plans to hit corners on the weekends after my last promotion made me big time ;) and I quit my weekend job. Now other obligations eat up all my time. I still love the 6r but its not the most comfortable for 2 hours of traffic for work.

I was considering a cruiser for this purpose but still prefer to go fast at times. To be honest I've never tried to corner a 14r or busa type bike, but imagine I could be fairly competent on it through a corner if I can hustle my dads old goldwing and cruisers around. But again this would be for my boring ass highway rides or long trips to Houston with my friend.

Also I said I would not lower any bike, but it seems most people didn't read that. I mostly was curious what others thought about the paint scheme.

Along on a steel wire behind a pick up truck! :laugh
