Hi guys,

Is there any service manual or a guide available? I used the search function but I cannot see anything related to my model.

Regards

J, Rear pad replacement is pretty straightforward.

I don’t think it matters whether you have ABS or not... should be:

1) remove caliper from the swing arm
2) remove the retaining pins
3) remove the pads
4) clean everything
5) insert new pads, and retaining pins.
6) push pistons back into caliper
7) mount caliper and bleed brakes.

The more important question is why are you replacing the pads? Have you already done the front?

I don't know how to remove the rear brake caliper :). I guess it's quite straightforward like the front, but I like to get an idea before I give it a try. I have done the front ones pretty easily after watching a video.
Pads are due for replacement (still on OEM pads since new) and the bike is due for registration renewal. We need a roadworthy inspection cert. when the vehicle is over 5 years.

UPD: Sorry for confusion! My post is for `19 model, not `16

@DONNOD
You don't need to remove rear caliper at all on '19 ZX6R ABS to replace brake pads.
Just remove pin and pads. Please refer part 12-18 of a service manual.
