Hello! I Have a 2013 zx6r with about 10k miles.
After changing the coolant and oil I started the bike up and once it hit 140 dgrees it dies. I’ve tried letting it get cold and restarting it but every time it dies at 140.
FYI
when I open the throttle and ride it, it’s fine it’ll I stop. Then it dies.

It was rather cold when I did it. I’m the 30-40s

Do you get any over temperature warnings? How old is the battery, how well is the charging system working, what is the idle speed adjustment after it warms up?

I’d recommend simple first bring the idle speed adjustment up a few hundred RPM while it’s cold, so when the ECU drops to the ‘warmed up’ mapping the idle adjustment actually does something.
