I could possibly be diagnosed with OCD if i went to the Doctor, so take that into consideration for this question..... :D

Are there any guidelines for adjusting the front brake lever? I have large hands so any setting is probably fine. Obviously too long of a reach is bad, but.... is too short of a reach bad too? Am i over-thinking this?

it doesn't matter what setting you choose from 1-5(i think 5 is the max, i'd have to look at my bike), the braking ability is the same. once the setting has been chosen, it's the same amount of pull/pressure to get from no braking to full on endo. i prefer to keep my brake lever close to the grip, it's really a personal preference. whatever feels best for you, choose that, it will not affect braking performance.

it goes 1-6. Yeah, i know the pressure is the same.

In my life long effort to optimize everything i touch, i figured there is some formula for the perfect lever reach. Personal preference works for me.
