2013+ Speedo Correction?

I hunted around without much success. I know the 2013 is virtually the same bike as the 09, but...
Does the speedo run off the same sensor for both models? speedohealer compatible?

I have no idea if it's true but I discussed it with my mechanic and he said potentially with the new electronics on the bike, it doesn't need a healer if you change the sprocket setup.

Kinda makes sense with the traction control/abs and the new sensor rings on the wheels but I'm not sure and he wasn't completely sure either.

Not sure.... but I know the sensor isn't on the countershaft sprocket on the '13+. It's on the front wheel. I'm sure the healer is compatible... just haven't had anyone I know put one on the new gen bike.

This is true... Changing gearing won't effect the speedo on this bike.
Correct - the vehicle speed is measured at the rear tire on the 13+, so you never need a healer (including when you change sprockets).

that's what i was really concerned about was whether or not is was reading from the sprockets. so if gearing is changed, it'll still read the same as stock.

Thank you gentlemen.
