If it is just the slip-on, all you need is your side stand :) In fact, using the side stand will help more than the spool stand. If you are doing a full system, get the spool stand because you will be working from both sides of the bike.

I installed competition werkes slip-on. It loud, and also is nice low profile for people who like that more.
Damn I love this pipe. It's like an M4 on steroids. I have an M4 on my '09 and my buddy has the comp werkes on his '11 and it sounds much nicer. Good purchase! Not sure why we don't see more people on the forum use these.

So a Competition Werkz shorty is louder than an M4 Street Slayer or was it being compared to the mid length M4 pipe?

Has anyone tried to fit the 19-20 Yoshimura Alpha T 3/4 exhaust on a 13-18 model?
I've been looking to fit the Alpha T 3/4 on my 2017 ZX-6R, so I've been looking into this.
Here's an 'official' response from Yoshimura USA sales dept.

Unfortunately, we did not retro-fit the new exhaust on the older model ZX6’s. So we are not sure if our exhaust will have any clearance issues on the older models and their bodywork. When we made the new Alpha T exhaust for the 2019 ZX6, it was made to fit and clear on that model only.

Sorry I do not have a better answer for you on this.

I honestly think it will work, looking at the parts diagrams (note: US models shown) for the 13-18 model exhaust vs. 19-20 model exhaust, the exhaust setup looks very similar. (Gasket sizes for the exhaust are the same parts as well)

But it would be nice to know someone who's already done it on their bike. Although it is possible that the right footpeg muffler mounting hole is slightly different between the model years.

As for the position of the right footpeg muffler mounting hole, here's a quick un-scientific comparison (looks the same to me)

Just the slip on and removed servo motor and cables. Next year im getting the cat delete and mid pipe then dyno tuned
I definitely like the look even without the mid pipe since it look so much better. This exhaust seems to be out of stock in the US so I'm going to have to wait to order one. How does it sound compared to stock so far?
