im thinking about buying an 07 zx6r with 10,000km on it. I checked it out and it's in decent shape, it's lowered about 1.5 inched for the current owner who is a girl. Anything I should watch out for before buying?

Pretty general question but ask her to include the stock links in case you want to return the bike to stock height, while you should cause those lowering links mess up the geometry of the bike and affect the turning ability.

I plan to put it back to stock height for sure, I don't think she has the stock links. Would the bike being lowered do any damage to after being ridden for that long like that?

No, it won't damage the bike. It's a good bike, I love my '08. There aren't really anyglaring issues with the bike other than a free, factory authorized service on the valve cover gasket. I'd ask if that's been done. Other than that and no low end power it's a great bike.
