Looking for a rebuild kit or any info about how to go about rebuilding the engine on this bike. Engine code ZX600FE041032. Received the bike and engine completely disassembled so it’ll be fun.

Your ask is lacking a good deal of info !

First up Engine Number is of no relevance as they fitted the ZX600FE across the F & G Models of that era so Vin Number is needed to nail down the Model, More for you than us.
The issue with this sort of project is you don't know the History of the Motor or Tranny so rather than scrimp on parts and find out it's shite you need to replace any and all worn or likely worn parts to get the required end result.
Eg:-
Shells, Rings, Bearings, Gaskets, Seals, Oil Pump, Water Pump Oil & Mechanical Seals, Clutch, Timming Chain & Guides, Thermo Stat,

Potential:-
Gearbox Parts (Selector Forks, Gears,) Valve Shims, Generator.
The above are off the top of my head and others will spot and mention any adds to the lists, This doesn't include any ancillaries like Fuel Pump, Carbs, Plugs, Air Filter Etc, Etc.

Q's
  1. Are you Mechanically inclined ?
  2. When you say Disassembled, Is the Motor completely apart ?
  3. I assume you knew it was like this prior to parting with your $'s because it could amount to the start of a Money Pit before your Riding her down the Highway.
  4. You'll have to expand on "Rebuild Kit"
  5. And for this project you'll need a Factory Service Manual.

Motorcycles are not like cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....................................................................................................exception....hardleys are like farm tractors

there is no "rebuild kit"

you need to measure and scrutinize each individual part and then look up what you need on the fiche for part numbers and then get some pricing

depending on need, you can easily reach $1000-$3000 in parts alone......... Just all the required gaskets, 4 sets of piston rings and seals are <usually/always> over $500
