19+ Gauge Display scratches

Since the 19+ Gauge is made out of jello and scratches if you blow on it, does anyone have recommendations for a way to get those out, or a way to protect the screen?

Haven’t seen the issue. How are you scratching it?
Wiping gently with a microfiber cloth, washing, quick detailer, etc.
I'm not kidding how easily it seems to scratch. Bike don't even have 5k miles on it and it looks worse than my old one with 35k on it
Tried some swirl remover but that didn't help
Umm that’s odd. I have a couple my 20 I rode a ton and literally live at a dirt park so it gets wiped down every-time I ride. Haven’t noticed any scratches

But now that you have scratches using some sort of protective films prob too late. But I’d imagine any-type of protective see through film would work. Would just have to cut to fit doubt anyone makes anything. Chemical guys makes about the best plastic scratch repair I have ever used. Most parts stores sell it and it comes in 3 stages. Just start with the rough stuff and work your way to fine. Any polish would prob work. For see through stuff ya really need high speed. Get one of those wheel cleaning balls you stick in a drill. Mothers makes them and parts store sells them . I have fixed some pretty scratched windscreens with the chemical guys and a buffer tho. I’d imagine these screens are the same type of material. But buff it smooth and add a film is about all you can do except replace it. And there is a part number for just the screen I have replaced the older gens before

Or maybe a headlight restoration kit? Seems like it would do the same thing.
This probably goes without saying, but never wipe a dry surface clean with a dry cloth or you will cause scratches -- always wet things first and start with a damp rag (and use a mild warm soap water if possible).

I’m constantly dealing with this. My garage at the park is at the end of a 1/8 mile gravel road.

Yea that's a given. Haven't done anything that I didn't do on old bike, and it never scratched like this. I didn't think of those polish balls. I'll give that a try. Just didn't know if it was a common thing, guess not

Tried some plastic polish. No better, if anything it's worse

I'm curious, what plastic polish did you use and how? What kind of rag or wheel were you using? Are the (new?) scratches in the direction you were rubbing? I'm wondering if you might have better luck with just a light wax? Of course, test anything in an inconspicuous spot before you put it on plastic you care about!

You never know about youtube -- YMMV!!! -- but you might get some ideas, like: How to Polish Clear Plastic on a Motorcycle - YouTube One comment actually suggested lemon pledge as a wax... Good luck! It looks like $100 for a new meter cover (do double-check the P/N!): Kawasaki 25023-0141 - METER CASE COVER | Partzilla.com

As a wax I can tell you for sure that lemon pledge is some awesome stuff. I use it on my dirtbike especially the fenders (the underside). I’m a bit anal about a dirty bike and throughly clean everyday I ride. And my final step is spraying the whole thing down with pledge. Lots of guys use wd40 and I guess that works but I don’t like the idea of spraying oil type substance all over my bike. And it stains the aluminum. I can ride the same rides as guys and it’s day and night difference in how my bike looks afterwards. And then what mud is there washes off super easy.

But on this cluster that’s for sure wipe marks. And almost looks like your polish is still down in the micro scratches. Have ya tried alcohol just to make sure you’re getting the polish cleaned out of all the scratches? Does seem a bit more than normal scratching
