Well I think the time has come to part out my 09. I really wanted to run this bike another season at least since the motor absolutely rips and is still super fresh, but i started running into electrical issues and kinda tired of putting money into this thing. Anyways, the engine is awesome so I am hoping to recoup some money from it since it just got finished in April, and has less than 750 miles(track/race) on it. Valve clearances and compression checked after last round and it is just as good as day 1.

-Full Radius Competition Valve job
-Microfinished Transmission
-Kit plugs and Head Gasket
-Finished Surface Cylinder Head
-EDR ECU Flash

I attached invoice of all of the new parts installed. The engine was completely torn down and all worn parts replaced including the crankshaft. You could eat off the engine when reassembled. With my Akra Evo exhaust it was throwing down 125 rwhp on a U4/pump mix.

EDR is trying to sell it on eBay for $2999 right now, but I can do better for a forum member if we do not go through eBay. They will also be heading to the final AFM round in a couple weeks and can most likely bring it with them to save someone shipping.

Thanks man!
Having second thoughts about it for sure lol
Here are some pics with the engine removed. Any rash on the covers was from before the build.

$2800 shipped and I’ll throw in the set of Samco hoses “race bike design”. Set. (Hoses are integrated to lessen the amount of possible failure points.

@MotoCT, before I close this since you said it's sold, may I ask how much you sold it for in the end? Just curious how much a SS motor like this would go for. I had a hell of a hard time selling my bone stock '09 motor last year. Took me about 7 months to sell and only got $700 for it.

I had it reinstalled back in the bike and sold the bike as a whole. I had the engine listed for a month and didn’t even get a low ball offer. Haha
