Hey guys I've never had this come on any of my bikes. The bike has been sitting since last September in my shed. I went on to start it and the f1 light was blinking. I let it warm Up and when I. Was pulling. On the throttle it seemed it did not have any power and sounded off. Any ideas where to start or what it could be? Thanks

Lets start with the basics.

What code is it throwing?

sorry for the dumb question but how do you tell what code it is throwing all it does is have the red light blinking while saying f1 like I said in the thread do u have to count the blinking pattern for another code?
Turn ignition on
Display odometer
Push and hold the mode button for 2 seconds
FI code will display.

Do not hold the button for more than 2 seconds or the bike will enter self destruct mode.

The bolded section above is crucial :devious
When I'm. Done with work tomoro I'm going to hold. The mode button for 10 seconds! I really hope it self destructs then I'm Calling the insurance company lol this bike has been a pita from day one compared to my 06 636
It's a f1 code 11 what does that indicate?
Thank you I found some evidence of mice so do you think they probably chewed through a wire?

Very possible, especially considering this problem only seemed to develop after the bike sat all winter.

Pull off the tank and airbox and have a look at all the wiring. Inspect for any noticeable damage. If all looks ok, pull and replace the TPS sensor and see if that does the trick.
Is it possible to pull the tps sensor I heard they are so precisely set at the factory that it's impossible to do on your own and ur better off changing the entire throttle body setup
