I've been reading about this but I'm just not understanding......so my bike apparently has stock a slipper clutch......I just got the bike about 2 weeks ago......I thought the clutch was bad so I started "researching" ...the manual goes into detail about it...I've never heard of it before so I'm just trying to understand why and what for........if I get on it....I flow right through the gears but if I'm just pussy footin around it feels like the clutch is ........slipping.....lol.......can someone please explain in lamens terms??

The clutch would slip the most when the most load is on it, so higher gears and harder acceleration..... if you aren't noticing it there then it likely is not slipping and you have some other issue while "pussyfooting it around"

but you would replace the clutch just like any other clutch... and use oem plates so you have the correct stack height, thus the slipper works as designed
