Hi, Zx6R when temperature go up until 110C cooling fan don't turn on, so i hook up the fan directly to the battery he works. So why don't turn on when temperature goes up 100 C ?

So my fan won't cut on, even when the temp gets over 230°F. I unplugged the fan and hooked it up to the battery, fan comes on and works great. So i eliminated that. I checked the fuse for the fan, that's good. So i eliminated that. What now?! Everyone says check the relay but i dont know what...

Just traded a car for a 2006 Kawasaki 636, I knew it had a some small problems, fairing hardware replaced with self tapping screws, a rear brake pad that was practically gone and no headlight bulbs. Also a few cracks and dings from either a failed wheely or a highside. Runs great, sounds good...

I took my radiator out because the piece that held the bottom of the fan broke and punctured my radiator. When i took it to the radiator shop to basically patch it, the guy told me the radiator was no good. Now i need another one. The sooner i find one the better because as soon as i fix the...

Hey everyone, I realized that when I'm idling for an extended period of time that the radiator fan does not kick in. It gets to the point where the gauge blinks "HI" and I have no choice but shut it down, or fly down the rode to let it cool off. I did some research and hooked up the fan to an...

Hey everyone, My I realized my radiator fan hasnt been kicking on when it's suppose to, so I first checked the fuse box and all the fuses are good, so I then hooked the fan wiring up to a 12 volt and it kicked on - so my guess is that the temperature sensor is busted. Problem is, I can't seem...

Is there a way to remove my fan without taking off my tank and dismantling everything under it to get to the bolts? If i need to remove the radiator how do i do that? I'm asking because my fan went out and i bought an R6 fan to put on it so i have to remove the old fan and use its mounting...

My fan is not kicking on. I've had my 06 zx6r up to 229 degrees and the fan never came on. I've already checked the fuse and hot wired the fan to the battery and the fan works fine. I'm not to sure what else it would be or how to test it? Any suggestions? I've thought about running a toggle...

I bought a 07 ZX6r early this year in february and it was running great until a few weeks back the FI code 56 started showing up. I checked the repair manual and code was for Radiator Fan Relay open or short. Of course this resulted in my radiator fan not kicking in when my coolant temp went...

Last night when I got home from my ride i noticed my bike had gotten very hot. like 238 hot, and i noticed the fan wasn't on. I flushed the system today and changed everything to see if that helps, but no go. I'm understanding the fan is supposed to turn on at 214 and it does not turn on. I...
