In the lower RPM range, the speedo works perfectly, but for example, I was in 3rd gear going around 80 MPH and it was jumping around from 72 to 88, but when I shifted into 4th, it worked fine again.

I have an 09 zx6r with a hot body's gp growler slip on, is there anyway to remove the cat converter/ first muffler? I have read different places that the cat is in the headers is that true? I thought it was the giant hunk of metal below the peg. I just want to make my bike lighter and faster...
