Damn, same amount of rounds. I had heard about the addition of Indy and the Ridge, but didn't realize they'd take out both Sonoma and Utah. I thought they'd keep Utah at least and just have 11 rounds instead of 10.

Heard that Yamaha is pulling out of the Superbike class now as well, and the Yamaha team will be ran through Attack/Stamboli's team instead.

Just when I thought MotoAmerica was better than ever, one of the 2 main manufacturers pulls out. Wtf?? It's gonna be just Suzuki now and a bunch of privateers. Kawasaki and Honda need to step up to it.

Literally said the same thing when I read the news earlier. What a bummer that is, looks like JD or Gerloff will be moving to something else. I really hope kawi gets involved, but I have my doubts. I really don't see Honda making a move at all, they barely can get their shit together in wsbk.

So I was under the impression this bike is coming out this upcoming year, but I see it's a 2021 model?? So does that mean Bautista and Haslam will be racing it next year before it's even released?? Is that even allowed per WSBK rules?

Sounds like an effort on their part to try and get some more people in the Superbike classes. They started doing that in the 2nd half of the year, but there wasn't much incentive so a lot of the top guys like Lee, Mesa, May, etc didn't do it.

I've seen the Attack Performance name in MotoAmerica for quite some time, but I'm really curious how they can afford that year after year. How does one afford to spend so much money on racing out of selling some rear sets, clip-ons, and triple clamps? I know they do some service as well, like engine work, dyno tuning and stuff like that, but is there something else they make/sell that I don't know? Because I can't imagine you get so much money from selling rear sets, clip-ons, triple clamps and a few other odds and ends. They're not even the biggest name in that market, as most people go with Woodcraft and Vortex. Maybe someone here is more familiar with them and can chime in.

I believe “Yamaha “ in Yamaha Attack Racing is where most of the money is coming from.

It’s easier for Yamaha to cut Attack a check and use them as a service provider.

And Westby has been a support team of Yamaha all along. So it goes hand in hand.

I doubt it. Where/when did he say that? lol He already has a ride. I was just with him last weekend at the NJminiGP and EvolveGT/MotoGladiator awards ceremony and he announced (again) that he'll be racing in BSB this year on a Moto 2 bike, with the team that won the championship the last couple of years. That's a better deal for his career anyway. He wants to race in Europe and move up to the higher levels. Going straight into MA Superbike is not the way to do that though.
