Trackday Junkies group on FB is full of Marquez haters and IMO bad fans for the sport who legitimately enjoyed and laughed at his crash. I've never liked Lorenzo but I never enjoyed seeing him crash. I want to see racing, not people crashing or parking a bike because of a mechanical/electrical problem. Now, if they make a mistake and run off the track and then region...fine. But crashing sucks, no matter who's on the bike.

He wasn't the first one to crash out of the lead of a race, and it wasn't even the first time for Marquez crashing out of the lead of a race. It happens, but I don't find it a laughing matter personally.

It was the clown show of the attempts to restart that I laughed at!

woohoo we are having fun now
Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

Seems like all sports have toxic "fans" who, for whatever reason, have an emotional investment in seeing the other team/player/driver/rider get injured or embarrassed/humiliated. I'm not sure I could laugh at anyone having a real crash (well maybe Fenati if it had happened right after his assholery last year).

That being said, sometimes the antics after a minor spill are humorous. I really wanted to see MM get back in and give us a show, but I still laughed at the restart attempts that looked like they could have been from a Buster Keaton movie.

Well, that sure didn't work out... I can't imagine how frustrating that would be spending 8 months injured and incapable of performing as expected. If anyone watched FP4 and got to listen to Neil Spalding talking about Lorenzo and why Honda wanted him it was an interesting idea. He certainly sorted a lot of Ducati's issues in his time there, hopefully he gets the Honda rolling as well.

Speaking of frustration, Quatararo definitely earned the right to throw a few things around back in the box. How shitty is their bike prep that the gear shift lever was getting stuck under the pushrod to the gearbox? I hope he comes back and keeps running like that, it's great to see some new faces at the front.

Yell that was an annoying 30 minutes of the announcers not shutting the heck up about Rossi.

Great job by Marc.

Yep, was faultless on the day.

Who is going to give him a proper race at some point? Only ones i can think might be FQ or Vinales

Good ride by Miller as well as Petrucci and Dovi on the Ducati's.

Really impressive race from both of the Petronas Yamaha's.

Rossi should've been able to pull off a better finsih IMO

Lorenzo started off very well and then faded back.

The 'winner' of this race for me was Pol. Glad to see him have such an excellent weekend.

MM is just on another level right now. No one can challenge him and he is the only one who can beat him. This is like his rookie year where he won what, 13 straight?
