My first trip to Barber (wow, what a track)
There was a young lady 11 who not only passed me in a corner but 5 others in one corner.
Then passed me between two other corners on a straight, while I was getting on the gas she never got off running flat out.
Met her back in the pits. The conversation went like this.
Young lady, you sure do put a hurting on an old man's ego. Passing me like that on a 300cc bike.
Her reply was no sir, it's not a 300cc bike it's a 125.
Young lady, that didn't help.
How long you been riding on the track, 4 years. (Just about half her life)
Keep it up, your doing great. Yes sir was the reply.
She didn't weigh 60 pounds, of course had no fear about getting hurt.
Worst case, dad would fix it and she would do school from home.
She hadn't experienced the pain for recover. Cost of the Dr's or bike repair.
Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
