Has been raining all week, so perfect timing to get it outside, so i can stand back and have a look.....

Mirrors and blinkers are on the way, then just need a headlight.

Since there was a rub mark on the front brake line, i decided to go for a set of race style braided lines, glad i went with the green and black, it matches well.

That's really coming along nicely. You may want to invest in some sliders, or case savers...... plastics are spendy to replace as you are already aware.

Made it out to my first track day yesterday, before my birthday, so good excuse to spend the money on myself for a present, lol.

Trying to see if photographer got any more. You can easily see how tentative i was for my first ride in the pic, i have a lot of room to improve.

If you got around the corner as fast as you wanted to.... I call that a win, lol.

This is very true. The power was smooth and rolled on perfectly, except one slow corner i just couldn't nail the exit, it would either lift the wheel and feel like it was over working, or it felt sluggish coming out of it.

Either way, riding to work this morning, back on my ER6N felt like i was riding a postmans bike.

I find left more natural than right corners. Bit unlucky the track close to me is run clockwise it seems, lol, but maybe will force me to get much better on my unnatural side i suppose.

I too find I have a preference..... In my case it's more natural go right than left.

Having just bought a front stand and having the wheels in the air, i noticed the front wheel wasn't spinning very cleanly, so I ordered and installed some new All Balls Racing bearings, and also thought i would measure the runout of the front axle seeing as it was a front end accident damage bike that i bought, and it is just within spec it seems, so i will order a new one very soon for it.

I also thought i'd try some film for the front lenses, as i don't have headlights, just the lens without a backing. I will have to get it out in the sun to get a proper opinion on it....

Looks like an ideal opportunity to install projector headlamps, vs. the OEM parts. You'll have more room to work with, and probably access to the same structure that supported the OEM assembly.... Good time to be creative. LED projectors can be reclaimed from a number of autos, now.....

You should post a before&after photo. Your bike is looking pretty good!
