Hello Kawa riders (all riders). name is tshepo aka Ginger, i rider a 05 zx6r 636 red in colour, bike is still stork standard well thats what they said were i bought it, had the bike for like a year and half(first bike), now i want to pimp this ride, but dont know where to start, any recommendations or what i can do to make the bike look hot, or enhance the bike in anyway you are more than welcome to post anything... i am excited in joining this forum, its been long over due!

Nice bike, looks freshly cleaned in that pic

Maybe start with a :

Fender eliminator
Integrated tail
Flush mount front turn signals: clear,smoke,or amber(I went amber, stock color)

Then move on to:

Hid's
Exhaust upgrade
Adjustable rear sets
Shorty levers

Oh yeah please upgrade ur automatic cam chain tensioner(cct)
To an APE manual cct.....trust me, and do it b4 u hit 12000 miles

tinted screen, hel lines,intergrated tail light, rearset adjusters, K&N air filter, +4 advancer, -1 front, pazzo knock offs, ape cct, zip tie mod,07 shock + rear disk, 08 swingarm, vernhil rear line, 636 exhaust with dan moto cf can, Kleen air mod..

will have to budget an make all these changes
thank alot

but tell me what is the best exhaust upgrade to get? i dont need too much power but i need sound, my bike is too quite . please help.

and what is this cct upgrade and why before 12000 miles?

Welcome to the house. Im with the other's on mods. You don't have to get it all done at once. Ask anyone here there bike is always needing another mod. Nice looking bike.

Cam Chain Tensioner. It takes up the slack in the cam chain (the chain is what turns the cam shafts and it is driven off the crank). The stock one doesn't work for long, especially at high RPM.
IMHO, before you go buying any "go fast" stuff dump a little money in the stoppers: SS brake lines and a good set of pads. Don't go with any pads marked for "Road racing", they need to be hot to work and you can't get them hot enough on the street.

+1 on the fender eliminator, shorty levers and exhaust.....also a tinted windshield and some red rim tape would look great.

You think you want a slip-on exhaust or the whole deal? there are a bunch of threads about exhausts.....I'll find you a link

thanks theEviltwin, will speak to my machenic regarding the cct, i am getting clever now using abbr haha... i was thinking about it too let me get the bike running in order before i go for go fast stuff

another question my FI light is cumin on and off and i heard you can get the code, how do i do this.
