Fitting magnetic tank bag w/ tank pads installed?

Bit of a silly question, but..

I'm wondering if this Joe Rocket Manta XL tank bag I'm looking at will fit my bike with the tank pads installed or if they will get in the way of the magnets. I'm finding it hard to tell from pictures. There is one listed local-ish for cheap and I was wondering if anyone has experience with this.

My bike and the tank bag for reference:

Wow, that's a close call based off the pics.

If it's local, I don't see why the store owner or the employees wouldn't allow you to bring it outside to see if it will fit. They should be able to escort you or offer up your drivers license as collateral.

Little tip about those magnets, always "clear" them before you apply them to the tank and never "pull" them off, gently lift the magnets up off the paint instead. Those magnets catch debris that scratch paint. Learned the hard way!

Why not get it and try it out. If you don't like it resell it. How thick are the tank pads? I don't see why you would have any issues if it's thin, 1/8" and under.

Thanks fellas.

It's for sale by a forum member, but he lives about an hour away. Maybe I'll just ride over his way and make a short day of it, was just wondering if anyone here had any experience doing this.

The tank pads are about 1/8" thick.
