2013 MotoGP @ Circuit of The Americas! (April 19th - 21st (Austin, TX))

I didn't want to make this region specific as anyone is welcome to meetup, check the "Random BS Chat Thread" for the beginnings of this!

Thread Start

We will begin travelling on/around 4/17/2013 (no specific times yet) from east coast.

Please keep in mind rough cost for this trip per person including passes and your own fuel if riding should be around $350 (that does not include food), we have not done a firm cost yet so this is a best guess. The intention is to camp at a campsite close to track (see post #3 for details), please don't PM me with a lot of questions use the thread for details before you send your messages.

Ok boys and girls here it is, if you are interested in this little adventure please PM me by 11/02. Below is a list of those already committed, also if there will be more than just you like a girlfriend or friend, please give me a + count (example: I am coming +1), use this template:

I am going / + ?
Riding my bike/Trailering myself/Need help or advice with transportation
I will camp with the group/I will provide my own hotel accommodations

THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED EVENT OF ANY KIND, NEITHER I NOR ZX6R.COM ASSUMES ANY LIABILITY IN THIS "GROUP TRIP", YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS AND ASSUME ALL LIABILITY AND RISKS FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS.

11 is the count right now, 9 from East Coast bound for KC.

1. Corvus (he started this so top spot! lol) +1

Cool

So I'm still wondering what my vehicle options will be. I'm about 1300 miles and 23 hours outside of Austin.

I have the bike and a 4 banger GMC Sonoma I would be able to use with adequate planning.

I'm not positive my school and work schedule, but they will be both wiped clean to make room for this, so that isn't really a concern.

I will be getting a trailer and will be coming right by you, so plenty of room in the 4Runner for 4 more and 5 bikes on trailer! We need to decide if we are cutting across to get Justin, or just meeting him there, its a 400 mile difference in the trip!

If you want you can meet me in VA on the way and trailer up, then we can keep heading south and grab Yabbaz, Corvus, and RimFire along the way. Right now I am making sure the soon to be ex will be taking the kids for the time I am gone.

My plans are far from set in stone... all I have planned to far is to give myself a few days to get to Austin for the 21st

Figured you would be! We have plenty of time to work out details, but tickets will go on sale in 5 days so the decision to at least go should be made soon!
