Will I get pulled in the UK for this setup? :)

Going to move my number plate to under the seat - like the picture I took today but going to screw brakcet a little bit higher.

Also going to move the brake reservoir to behind the fairing - there is youtube clip for this (pm me)

Does anyone know on the legality of the intregate led/indicator tail light in the uk?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

The intergrated tail lights can fail an MOT, my mate has one and he has to put standard ones on for the mot. ON the number plate issue unless it is flat up against the fairing there is a good chance it will hit the wheel when the suspension compresses and you will be pulled for that.

^^^+1 on the compression

You can get away with smaller irregular size plates if they are in the usual place but I think you will probably get some unwanted attention from Mr Plod for the plate just because it's not in the usual place. The can also prosecute if your plate is illuminated and for not having a reflector.

What size plate can you get under there? They'll probably get you for that too if it's too small!

Its 11x3.5 inches.

The letters are legal size, but no border, one letter less and no space so all fits on 11x3.5.

I see what you mean Steve, why I was hoping to screw in on some l brakets high as I could get a way with.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I think i read some where that you are not allowed to have a number plate in one line.

intergrated is ok for mot as long as you can see turn signals from the side
of the bike ....

you will get pulled for the plate thou ...

little heads up about mot's and plates

the number plate is not part of the mot so if you get failed on it they are wrong !

the rules set out for number plate sizes ect are set out by the DVLA
and nothing to do with VOSA
so ok for an mot but may get pulled on the road

my bike passed its MOT with all in one LED tail light tester told me loads of new bikes are going that way so as long as it has a E marking he will pass it.

As for the plate I don't know if you would get away with that as long as its clearly read from the rear of the bike, tucking it away might not be a good idea but it depends where you live though.

The cops up here are not bothered about plate sizes as long as its normal lettering and not italic or messed up in any way.

loads of my mates have small plates or in one line like yours and none of us have ever been pulled for it.

But lets face it some cops can take a total dislike to something and slap out a ticket if they want so its on your own head.

best option ask a traffic cop see what his response is lol

i have integrated and its fine on mot's. some have failed my number plate for not having a postcode on it (christ knows what that is all about) but i have one with a reflector on it just for mot time.
letterbox style number plates are a guaranteed pull. i have a small 'square' one but i only have 5 digits on it so the digits are still the normal bike size
