Do you know how to push start a bike?

You don't even need a clutch to upshift.

What gear is it in now?

The only difficult part of riding w/o ur clutch is stopping. Avoiding traffic is key, id push it once ur in town.

You'll prolly have to stall your bike at stops since its damn difficult clicking gears into neutral w/ no clutch.

I'd be to paranoid to ride that bike again w/o a pair of vice grips

Like he said it's a bike, a week old to him.

It's a 10 year old bike, cables need to be lubed and have a finite lifetime eitherway.
They brake.

Hello Jon Jonathanhlmn
Welcome to the forum.
OK,, tough luck. I picked up a spare because it sucks to not have one handy.

Looked at your profile, young pup you are.
Looking forward to Hello in the new members section.
Once you get the clutch fixed, I see a track day in your future. Or I should, don't wait until your old (like me) to find all the fun you could be having.
See your a Healthcare Professions graduate of Georgia State and live about 2 hours from Barber and 30 minutes from Atlanta Speedway. I'm jealous.
Took me 10 hours to get to Barber, what a riot.

OH, pictures or it doesn't count.

Hey guys, thanks for the input! I'm scrambling trying to find a place that has the cable now. Looks like I won't be riding for a few days. Any good ideas as to where I should search for good parts in the Atlanta area? I'll need to pick up a spare like Indy said. It really does suck to not have these things handy. Are there any more spare parts you guys may think I need? And I have no clue what Barber is or what goes on there.

Do you think the dealer would have them in stock or would have to order it?

Call around and you'll probably find a dealer that has it in, especially a larger dealer as this is a pretty common problem. I think it's usually $25-$30 and installation is super easy.

My spare is a Motion Pro.

Novice has class room sessions, no passing in corners. More fun than you have ever had with your clothes on. PROMISE

This is my trip to the museum 3 years ago. They have doubled the size.

MAAAAAN!! I'm already planning my trip now, I'm going to be so broke... or divorced. I paused SOA to watch your full video and caught myself leaning with you in the turns! Nice red paint! I've got to get track fairings now... And a truck! I had no clue I was so close to such a wonder.

Find a group that does trackdays. I've been with Sportbike Track Time several times. They do a great job and have some top notch instructors.

Barber is an INCREDIBLE facility. Too bad you don't have an '05-'06. I've got a set of track plastics I need to sell!

You keep bunching up with Redspade there. I have run into her at several barber track days and at COTA. That girl apparently does nothing but do track days. I think the last time I rode with her on the track was June of last year. I ended up lapping her during a session...
