Is that the side stand spring? Rear brake maybe????

Id say rear brake.

I am not to familiar with this model of ninja but looking at it I would say it may have something to do with the carbs.

Hmm well I think the choke slide spring is a bit smaller than that, ?????
Do the throttle-body's work? Whats not working?? .

havent finished bike mate so cant really tell whats not working atm.

i'm pretty sure the carb's were complete when i put them back in but i may have to rip
em off to double check.

have had a quick look through workshop manual but without looking at every page it'd be pretty hard to spot it.

It's too long to be the kickstand, too skinny to be on the rear brake, too long for the choke...??? Does your headers or muffler have springs(Had)...

Im looking at a parts list right now and there is no spring that large, and even if you google the part number it is a short 1-2 inch fat spring

:O

there is a slight, very slight chance, that it may have been from somewhere else (another project).

But i had all parts layed out neatly on floor on sheets in an area i had set aside just for the bike.

Just seems a little weird this was sitting there, was in a group of parts that i would have thought would go on last, mayb just before the fuel tank or seats, etc. Clueless really

yeah ive been looking through a few diagrams but no luck so far, would be awesome if you could just type in spring and come up with a list of springs instead of trying to sort though every diagram!

will keep trying!

thanks for all the help so far though!
